水性涂料在汽车行业已经成功应用了十几年,但对工程机械行业而言,水性涂料却还属于比较新的事物。随着国家及各省市对大气污染治理政策、大气污染物排放标准的颁布实施,对VOC排放的控制越来越严格。在此形势下,轨道交通、集装箱、农业机械等行业已经较大范围采用水性涂料替代传统的溶剂型涂料工程机械行业近年来也对水性涂料进行了应用研究,一些企业已经开始大规模使用水性涂料。另外,水性涂料生产企业也开始关注工程机械行业,针对工程机械使用的水性涂料进行了大量的产品研究和开发,许多涂料企业已经开发出专门用于工程机械的水性涂料。
水漆水性机械工程应用,其中较为著名的例子就是三一重机的案例了。三一重机从2014年开始便进行水性涂料涂装的研究,至2018年,三一重机昆山园区已有10条水性涂装生产线。此外,小编在参与会议的时候也闻知:目前运输机械已经有70%的企业实现了水性涂装,而预计2020年年中左右,所有机械产品均全面推广使用水性涂装。
虽然水性涂料在其他行业已经大面积应用,但是不同行业有不同的特点,工程机械产品在结构、功能、用途等方面与其他机械行业产品存在较大差异,因此对涂料性能的要求也有所不同。不过,通过水性涂料企业的提高改进以及工程机械的应用表明,水性涂料完全能够满足工程机械产品的涂装质量需求,除个别性能指标外,水性涂料的各项性能均不低于溶剂型涂料。因此,从性能角度而言,水性涂料在工程机械行业是可以放心使用的。
从政策来看,使用水性涂料将是未来VOC减排的主要方向。其中,《上海市挥发性有机物深化防治工作方案(2018—2020年)》提出,工业行业全面推进低(无)VOC含量原辅材料和产品源头替代,也要求工程机械制造行业推广使用高固体分、粉末涂料,试点推行水性涂料。《福建省打赢蓝天保卫战三年行动计划实施方案》中鼓励重点行业企业开展生产工艺和设备水性化改造,加大水性涂料、粉末涂料等绿色、低挥发性涂料产品的使用,加快涂料水性化进程,从生产源头减少挥发性有机物排放。这一系列的环保措施及排放标准对传统溶剂型涂料的使用起到了很大的限制作用,反过来大大促进了水性涂料的生产和应用。工程机械涂装也是VOC治理的主要内容,水性涂料又是一种仅次于粉末涂料、电泳涂料的低VOC涂料,因此采用水性涂料是工程机械合规生产、达标排放的一个重要途径。
经过了近几年的探索和应用证明,水性涂料在工程机械行业的应用是可行的,也是成功的。虽然工程机械涂装水性化还存在难点,但一方面得益于成功经验的推广,另一方面迫于环保治理压力,水性涂料在工程机械行业的应用是一种趋势,而且会不断从整机生产企业推广到配套件生产企业。

In this situation, the rail transit, container, agricultural machinery and other industries have widely used water-based coatings to replace the traditional solvent coating construction machinery industry. In recent years, the application of water-based coatings has also been studied. Some enterprises have begun to use water-based coatings on a large scale. In addition, water-based coating manufacturers have also begun to pay attention to the construction machinery industry. A large number of product research and development have been carried out for the water-based coating used by construction machinery. Many coating enterprises have developed water-based coating specially used for construction machinery.
One of the most famous examples of the application of water-based mechanical engineering is the case of Sany Heavy machinery. Sany Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the research of water-based coating since 2014. By 2018, there are 10 water-based coating production lines in Kunshan Park of Sany Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. In addition, Xiaobian also heard when he participated in the meeting that: at present, 70% of enterprises of transportation machinery have achieved water-based coating, and it is expected that by the middle of 2020, all mechanical products will be fully promoted to use water-based coating.
Although waterborne coatings have been widely used in other industries, there are different characteristics in different industries. Construction machinery products are quite different from other machinery products in terms of structure, function and use, so the requirements for coating performance are also different. However, through the improvement of water-based coating enterprises and the application of construction machinery, it shows that the water-based coating can fully meet the coating quality requirements of construction machinery products. In addition to individual performance indicators, the performance of water-based coating is not lower than that of solvent based coating. Therefore, from the performance point of view, the water-based coating in the construction machinery industry is safe to use.
From a policy point of view, the use of waterborne coatings will be the main direction of VOC emission reduction in the future. Among them, the work plan for further prevention and control of volatile organic compounds in Shanghai (2018-2020) proposes that the industrial industry comprehensively promote the source substitution of raw and auxiliary materials and products with low (no) VOC content, and also requires the construction machinery manufacturing industry to promote the use of high solid content, powder coating, and test point to promote water-based coating. In the implementation plan of the three year action plan of Fujian Province to win the blue sky defense war, key industry enterprises are encouraged to carry out water-based transformation of production process and equipment, increase the use of green and low volatile paint products such as water-based paint and powder paint, accelerate the process of coating water-based, and reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds from the source of production. This series of environmental protection measures and emission standards have greatly restricted the use of traditional solvent based coatings, which in turn greatly promoted the production and application of waterborne coatings. Construction machinery coating is also the main content of VOC treatment. Water-based coating is a kind of low VOC coating next to powder coating and electrophoretic coating. Therefore, the use of water-based coating is an important way for the compliance production and emission of construction machinery.
Through the exploration and application in recent years, it is proved that the application of water-based coating in construction machinery industry is feasible and successful. Although there are still some difficulties in water-based coating of construction machinery, on the one hand, it benefits from the promotion of successful experience, on the other hand, under the pressure of environmental protection, the application of water-based coating in the construction machinery industry is a trend, and it will continue to be promoted from complete machine production enterprises to supporting parts production enterprises.
